Coaching for healing & self-regulation

Do you feel chronically tired, overwhelmed or depleted? Are you navigating CFS/ME, post-viral symptoms, high sensitivity (HSP), or a constant sense of inner restlessness, anxiety or fluctuating energy? In my practice, I support people who experience symptoms of nervous system dysregulation and want to better understand what is happening within them.

Some of us are born with a highly sensitive nervous system, as is often the case with HSP. For others, life experiences, trauma, prolonged stress, chronic overload or viral infections can affect the nervous system and push it out of balance. Often, it is a combination of these factors — both nature and nurture.

Dysregulation can affect every layer of our being: mental, emotional, physical and energetic. It can leave us feeling overly sensitive to both our inner and outer environment and, over time, contribute to deep fatigue, depletion and a sense of disconnection from ourselves.

Whether you are completely new to nervous-system work or have found me through the Gupta Program, we can start where you are. Together, we explore your patterns, your experiences and what your system needs, while creating more space for regulation, connection and wellbeing.

Coaching | Support for healing

Individual coaching

Together, we explore:

  • what may be keeping your nervous system activated
  • the patterns beneath fatigue, anxiety, overwhelm or emotional struggles
  • how your thoughts, emotions and behaviors interact
  • how to move away from constantly monitoring or fearing your symptoms
  • practical ways to create more calm, safety and connection
  • developing a more trusting and compassionate relationship with yourself

Gentle, personal and focused on meaningful, lasting change.

Coaching | Program based

Personalized support alongside your Gupta Program practice.

Together, we explore:

  • where you feel stuck or unsure in your brain-retraining practice
  • how to work with the Gupta tools in a way that feels natural to you
  • patterns, resistance or fears that may be getting in the way
  • nervous-system regulation and emotional work
  • where you need more nuance, depth or a different perspective
  • practical suggestions navigating chronic health challenges and high sensitivity

Over 10 years of experience with the Gupta Program

Coaching that goes beyond one method

You don't need another set of rules about what you should be doing. Many people who come to me have already read a lot, tried different approaches and learned a great deal about their health. And that knowledge can be valuable. But healing is not always about finding the next thing to do. Sometimes it is about learning to notice what is happening inside you. To recognize when your system becomes activated. To understand the patterns underneath your reactions. To become more aware of your body's signals. And gradually develop more choice, self-trust and inner safety. This is where my coaching focuses

What can coaching offer me?

Depending on your needs, coaching may include:

  • (if you follow the GP, deepening the retraining techniques)
  • Understanding your brain and nervous system patterns
  • Managing fight, flight, freeze responses
  • Body-based regulation and grounding practices
  • Work with survival stress (trauma), to a certain degree
  • Strengthening your inner adult (sense of Self)
  • The ability to calm and soothe yourself (self-soothing)
  • Taking back your power: self-esteem and inner-trust
  • Navigating High Sensitivity (HSP)
  • Mindfulness, pacing & energy awareness
  • Addressing inner blocks and fears
  • Motivation and support
  • And work with the all to many different experiences: anxiety, wired & tired, tension, gut issues, PEM etc.

Experience my way of working

My work is grounded in both my professional training and my own recovery journey from chronic fatigue and nervous system dysregulation. At the moment I don't offer free introduction calls. Once a month I guide a live session combining meditation and a brain-retraining exercise for the Gupta community. There are also recordings available. If you are new to my work, this can be a lovely way to get a feeling for my voice, presence and way of guiding.

  • If you are in the free trail, you can join the live meditation.
  • If you have a paid account you can join both the meditation and brain retraining session
  • You can buy recordings of my guided meditation through the Gupta program website

"For over a year I had been struggling just to get through the day, feeling overwhelmed and exhausted. Even after just one session, it felt like someone had put a plug back in me. I felt more capable, more in control and quickly started regaining my energy. The parts work she had me do made me realize that I was exhausted because I was resisting some fundamental parts of myself. Her insight and support made a profound difference.."

Eve (FR)

"Paulien gaf me aan het begin van mijn traject helder inzicht in de situatie waarin ik me bevond, dat was van onschatbare waarde.

In vervolg begeleidde ze mij op mijn pad van herstel, heling en ontwikkeling.

Aan het eind van mijn traject heb ik meer zelfkennis, zelfvertrouwen, zelfliefde, balans en rust in mijn bestaan opgedaan."

Gerben (NL)

"Working with you has been very helpful. You are a great listener and have a lot of expertise in the area of healing and recovery from these kinds of conditions. You hone in on some of the core issues underlying my health conditions, and on core practices for healing. Our sessions have become increasingly useful as you have gotten to know my particular challenges better and suggestions have become increasingly relevant. You are very insightful and intelligent and clear."

L.S. (USA)
